“With a career in insurance spanning over three decades, Allan first began his insurance journey in 1992 at Holman Insurance Brokers in Billericay. There, he gained his foundational experience, learning the nuances of the insurance industry that would guide his path forward.

In 1998, Allan transitioned into Fleet Underwriting with Ensign Motor Policies in Chelmsford (now part of QBE), where he specialised in motor policies until 2001. Eager to take on new challenges, Allan, then moved to London, joining R L Davison & Co Ltd as a placing broker. Over the next decade, he witnessed significant growth and changes, including RLD’s acquisition by Miles Smith in 2011 and its eventual evolution into SRG in 2019.

In 2024, Allan joined Citynet’s Motor Fleet division, one of the largest in the London Market, as a Motor Broking Director. He is excited to leverage his extensive experience and industry connections to deliver best solutions for broker clients.

Outside of work, Allan is passionate about sports, particularly as a lifelong West Ham supporter. He also enjoys a round of golf – even if he admits he’s not quite destined for the PGA Tour! When time allows, Allan likes to get out on his mountain bike, adding a touch of adventure to his weekends.
