FANTASY FOOTBALL COMPETITION – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

COMPETITION OVERWIEW

The Fantasy Football Challenge (the “Competition”) is a skill-based fantasy sports competition where participants create a team of professional football players and score points based on their real-life performances in Premier League.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.
  • The competition is open to those participants that have joined The Citynet Cup League on Fantasy Premier League website (https://fantasy.premierleague.com)
  • The competition is open only to those participants that have followed Citynet Insurance Brokers LinkedIn page and joined our league.

 

REGISTRATION AND ENTRY

  • To participate, users must create an account at https://fantasy.premierleague.com and submit a team prior to the official competition start time, or at any point during the season.
  • Entry is free per participant/team.
  • Each participant is allowed one team.
  • Entrants may not enter the competition on behalf of another person.
  • Citynet reserve the right to change or cancel the terms.
  • All participants, including the winner, may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw.
  • All participants, including the winner, consent to us using their photograph and name for publicity purposes.
  • Our decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • By providing us with your contact details through email you consent to be contacted by us (in line with our Privacy Notice).
  • Citynet reserve the right to change or cancel the terms.

 

COMPETITION PERIOD

  • The competition will run from 16 August 2024 to 25 May 2025, covering all matches during this period.

 

PRIZES

  • The total prize pool is £2500 gift card/voucher and £2500 charity donation, distributed as follows:
    • 1st Place (winner): £1,500 gift card/voucher + 4 tickets to West Ham games for the 2025-2026 season + an additional £2,500 donation to a charity of their choice!
    • 2nd Place: £750 gift card/voucher
    • 3rd Place: £250 gift card/voucher
  • The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash or other prizes.
  • Citynet Insurance Brokers retain the right to substitute the prize for one of similar value (if applicable).
  • Winners will be contacted via the email address provided during registration and must respond within 30 days to claim their prize.

 

TIE-BREAKER

  • In the event of a tie in points, the following tie-breaker rules will apply:
    • 1st Tie-Breaker: Most goals scored by the team.
    • 2nd Tie-Breaker: Fewest red cards received.

 

DISQUALIFICATION

  • The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the terms, uses automated software, or engages in any form of cheating or unfair play.

 

PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

  • By participating in the competition, participants agree that their personal data (including name and email) may be collected and used for the purposes of administering the competition, prize fulfilment, and to communicate information about our products and services. You can unsubscribe from any of our communications by clicking the relevant link in the emails and can withdraw consent or request the removal of your data from our systems by contacting [email protected]. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

  • By entering the competition, participants accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
