It has finally arrived!

Today, 29^th of September 2017, people all over the country will be taking part in an activity that’s tasty, fun and also helps raise funds and awareness for a truly worthy cause.

I think it’s fair to say that all of us at Citynet Insurance Brokers are fans of cake and sweet treats. One reason more to save a special spot on our calendar for the world’s biggest #MacmillanCoffeeMorning.

The chance to enjoy some tasty bites along with a hot beverage, while providing support for Macmillan at the same time, has become a tradition in our HQ year on year.

Each and every one of us has made a special effort today by baking, buying and bringing is the most delicious treats. Our baking competition has seen people of all ages getting involved. It is with great pride that we announce the winner of our Best Baker competition. This year we award this prize to one of our youngest member of staff, Ellis Jardine. Many congratulations Ellis and keep on baking!

Citynet provides sponsorship to Kinawley GAA football club.

Citynet provides sponsorship for a number of football, rugby and boxing clubs both in the UK and Ireland.

Our latest sponsorship is Kinawley GAA, a small Gaelic football club in rural South Fermanagh. The club encourages kids of all abilities and backgrounds to take part in the sport of Gaelic Football. Citynet has very kindly agreed to sponsor the club where funds will go towards underage football teams boys & girls as well as helping out with the build of a new running/walking track. Photos attached includes our Kit which the U14 girls will wear with pride, Citynet was present when the new kits got handed out.

Citynet Insurance Brokers releases its year end 2017 financial statements and the success story continues with headline growth in all of the key performance areas.

• 43% growth in total revenue above our original budget.
• Strong management has achieved a rise in EBITDA of 125%.
• Insurance industry standard measure of revenue per head up 30% to £155,674.
• Profit margin up by 7% by careful cost control.
• Considerable progress with our corporate structure.

Citynet Insurance Brokers expands London Market Property/Casualty team with Account Executive hire.

Citynet Insurance Brokers, a leading wholesale insurance broker in both UK and Ireland, are pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Wadhams as an Account Executive. Matt joins their London market Property/Casualty division.

With over 16 years of experience in the London Wholesale market, Matt joins Citynet from JLT where he held a position of Associate Director for over 10 years. His responsibilities included the day to day broking and handling of enquiries, overseeing the team and developing new Agent and Underwriter relationships.

In his new role, Matt will be an integral part of the Citynet UK wholesale Property/Casualty division, bringing new ideas and new markets to the team, providing expertise and broking skills necessary to place difficult risks. He will help Citynet’s UK division maintain relationships whilst winning new business in conjunction with new and existing partners.

“Matt is a great addition to the expanding team of quality brokers we have at Citynet,” says Richard Scott, CEO of Citynet. “With over sixteen years’ experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and contacts with him which will help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.”
